We use your account identifier, email and any account name you supply to authenticate you, provide private library access, and respond to support requests. Subscription records include the plan, billing status, payment and subscription identifiers, amounts, currency, and relevant dates. Stripe processes card payments; do not send card numbers or passwords to support.
When you join the ongoing free weekly newsletter, we record your email, your agreement to receive the weekly edition, the submission time and page context in our publication inbox and contact records. The email service receives the address and message when used for delivery. Signup does not create a paid subscription or grant the paid deep-dive archive. Newsletter emails will include a personal unsubscribe link, with no sign-in or message to the editor required. Newsletter opt-outs store a hashed email identifier, a hashed unsubscribe token and the opt-out time for delivery suppression. This does not cancel paid membership or stop essential account and payment notices. The revised weekly delivery setup is still pending. Reading the public sample does not create identified article-open records. Earlier one-off free-issue requests covered only that issue and one follow-up, not the ongoing weekly newsletter; those readers are not automatically enrolled into the new weekly edition.
When you select Read article in the signed-in library, we record the article identifier, your account identifier, email, any account name, and the time of the open. Opening the same article again may create another entry. These records are available only to authorized editorial administrators, not other readers. They are not evidence of completed reading, email opens, or views before this tracking was introduced.
Doany provides hosting, account services and publication data storage. Stripe provides payment processing and billing management. Delivering the subscribed newsletter requires sharing the recipient address and issue content with the configured email service; delivery records may include submission status and provider receipts. Support messages are handled through email. These services process information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices.
Sign-in uses browser session or local storage mechanisms to maintain account access. Records are used to operate the publication, handle billing and support, and maintain security and necessary business records. This notice does not promise a fixed deletion period. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information; requests are reviewed with identity verification and applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. Canceling a subscription does not itself delete the account or its records.
Material changes to these practices will be reflected in this notice. Contact us if you need clarification before subscribing.
